Scenario 1: The Undercut Opportunity
Lap 38 of 57. Your driver is P3, 2.1 seconds behind P2. Tyres are 18 laps old. Rain is forecast in 12 laps. The pit window is open.
A. Pit now and go for the undercut
B. Stay out and wait for the rain
C. Box next lap for fresh softs
Scenario 2: The Tyre Gamble
Lap 20 of 55. Your driver is P2 on soft tyres that are degrading fast. The leader is on mediums and looking comfortable. You have one set of mediums and one set of hards left.
A. Pit now for mediums and try to build an overcut
B. Push hard for 3 more laps then pit for hards
C. Stay out as long as possible and hope for a safety car
Scenario 3: The Safety Car Decision
Lap 40 of 57. Safety car deployed. Your driver is P2 with a 4 second lead over P3. Tyres are 22 laps old. 17 laps remaining. Pit lane is open.
A. Pit for fresh tyres and rejoin in traffic
B. Stay out and protect track position
C. Wait one lap to see what the leader does
Scenario 4: The Pit Stop Timing Call
Lap 30 of 55. Your driver is P1 by 3 seconds. Both drivers behind have just pitted. You are on 20 lap old mediums. 25 laps remaining.
A. Pit now and trust the pace on fresh tyres
B. Stay out for 5 more laps to build a bigger gap
C. Push flat out and try to extend the lead before pitting
Scenario 5: The Wet Weather Gamble
Lap 10 of 60. Light rain begins. Track is damp but not fully wet. Everyone is on slicks. Your driver is P3.
A. Pit immediately for intermediate tyres
B. Stay out on slicks and hope the rain stops
C. Wait 2 laps to see how conditions develop
Scenario 6: The Team Radio Dilemma
Lap 45 of 57. Your driver is P1 but reporting the car feels strange. Engineer suspects a slow puncture. No visual confirmation yet. Gap to P2 is 6 seconds.
A. Pit immediately just in case
B. Tell the driver to push on and monitor
C. Ask the driver to slow slightly and assess for one lap
Scenario 7: The Overcut Attempt
Lap 25 of 53. Your driver is P4. The three drivers ahead have all just pitted under a virtual safety car. You stayed out. You are now P1 on 25 lap old hards with fresh soft tyred cars behind closing fast.
A. Pit next lap and rejoin in traffic
B. Push hard for 3 laps to build a gap then pit
C. Stay out as long as possible and hope for another safety car
Scenario 8: The Final Lap Showdown
Last lap. Your driver is P2, 1.2 seconds behind P1. Both on identical tyres with equal pace. DRS is available on the main straight. Your driver has one push to lap mode left.
A. Use push to lap mode on the main straight and go for the overtake
B. Save the push to lap for the last corner sequence
C. Back off and secure P2 rather than risk everything
